Biography
I am a Lecturer in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Salford, starting my position in 2023. Prior to this, I was a Lecturer at De Montfort University.
I earned my Bachelor's degree at the National University of Singapore after which I worked as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Education in Singapore. My academic journey continued with a Ph.D. from Bournemouth University, followed by postdoctoral research positions at Bournemouth University and University College Dublin.
My current research aims to understand the mental processes involved when performing conflict tasks in the lab (like the Stroop task), and whether these mechanisms can transfer across domains (such as language).
