Biography
Olayinka is a lecturer at the University of Salford with research interests in Cybersecurity, data privacy, data analytics and artificial intelligence. His research focuses on the privacy preservation of connected and autonomous vehicle data, analysing the privacy risks associated with sensitive data and addressing potential threats to the system. He developed a private generative technique to address a balanced privacy-utility trade-off as a solution to efficient camera data privacy preservation for autonomous vehicle (AV) data storage and processing. He is actively involved with students and experts in developing next-generation ML-based security solutions for Internet of Things devices, especially AVs and smart city components. He develops students to research cyber forensics investigation of emergent technologies and Internet of Things technology. His research will continually inspire many students in STEM and contribute to high-impact journals and articles.
