Biography
Dr. Saeed Adelipour is a Research Fellow in Multi-Energy Systems and Communities at Salford Business School, University of Salford. His research focuses on resilient and sustainable energy communities, with a particular emphasis on electrification and the integration of electric vehicles. He is a contributor to the DriVe2X project, funded by EU Horizon Europe and UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), which aims to accelerate vehicle electrification through innovative bi-directional smart charging technologies.
Prior to joining the University of Salford, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Electrical Engineering Department at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. His work, supported by a grant from the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF), explored secure multi-party computation methods for cyber-physical systems, facilitating privacy-preserving outsourcing of computationally intensive control and optimization processes.
Dr. Adelipour holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems Engineering) from the Iran University of Science and Technology (2011) and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Control Systems Engineering) from Sharif University of Technology (2013, 2020). In 2017–2018, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Pisa, Italy.
