Dr. Mohammed Albakri, a respected Senior Fellow of Higher Education (SFHEA) and PhD holder in Information Systems from the University of Manchester, has a wealth of experience in leading and developing innovative academic programmes. Over the past decade, Dr. Albakri has refined his teaching skills in digital transformation and information systems and technology. His work aligns with the UK Professional Standards Framework, the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), and the Research Excellence Framework (REF), showing his commitment to academic excellence. With a growing list of publications and extensive experience in leading, teaching, and supervising students at all levels, Dr. Albakri excels in scholarly teaching and research in areas such as digital app development, digital platforms, AI, the digital economy, cloud computing, big data, and innovation.

Specialising in the IS/IT field with a particular emphasis on digital transformation, Dr. Albakri believes that learning should be an active and collaborative endeavour. He has taught modules such as innovative problem solving, information security management, operations information management, digital business, and business live projects with innovation and technology, among other related subjects. With extensive experience as a Programme Director and Director of International Exchange, he excels in creating inclusive, industry-relevant curricula that enhance student employability and foster academia-industry partnerships. Dr. Albakri's commitment to innovative pedagogy, active learning, and the integration of modern technologies ensures that his students are well-prepared to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
