BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation
On this British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) accredited course, you will explore musculoskeletal injuries, assessment and diagnosis, therapeutic techniques, and exercise rehabilitation skills. This is supported by a foundation in anatomy, pathophysiology, biomechanics, and psychology.
You'll learn how to provide effective care for people with injuries, illnesses, and diseases to improve their health and function, either autonomously or as part of a multi-disciplinary team on this accredited course.
You'll gain expertise in helping injured individuals return to full sporting activity by applying cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques in a lively and supportive environment. Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in real-life situations.

BSc (Hons) Sports Science
This course is accredited by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and is tailored to enhance your skills in analysing and assessing performance, as well as delivering interventions across both traditional (including exercise physiology, psychology, biomechanics, and nutrition) and modern sports science fields, such as performance analysis and strength and conditioning.
In your third year, you'll have a good understanding of your strengths and interests. Therefore, we offer you the chance to specialise in either our Strength and Conditioning or our Performance Analysis pathway. Additionally, you'll complete a dissertation and a placement, providing practical application for what you've learned.

An alumna of the University of Salford’s Sports Science programme, Hannah boasts an impressive record as a three-time Paralympic Champion, multiple World and European Champion, and World Record holder.
Recognised for her outstanding contributions, including securing Gold and Bronze medals at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, she was honoured with an OBE in the 2022 New Year Honours list, replacing her previous MBE.
