21 ways our University Fellows are shaping the world

Group of University Fellows outside the University

Our University Fellows are a group of 21 early career academics delivering transformational research across our four schools.

These prestigious appointments are tackling some of the most pressing problems facing the world today, from climate change to inequality, through world-leading research and innovation.

All of our University Fellows complement and extend research within our areas of expertise. Supported and nutured by the University environment, the fellows have a clear vision for their future leadership in research, which will involve developing new partnerships with public, business and third sector organisations, and innovating in research-led teaching.

For their first two years at Salford, the University Fellows are focussing exclusively on building their research profiles.

Innovators of the future, they are forming ideas that will shape the world.

It starts in Salford.
