Welcome to Salford Languages

The University’s English Language and Modern Foreign Languages Teaching Centre. We are ranked in the top 10 best University English Language Centres in the UK (EL Gazette).

Whether you are interested in studying at the University of Salford, are a student already and simply looking to improve your English or another foreign language for personal, professional or academic purposes, we have a range of courses to support your needs.

Our English language courses are designed to help you adapt to living and studying in a UK university environment and can help you qualify for a full programme of academic study at Salford.

The English language teaching and support that you will receive at Salford has passed a rigorous inspection process. Every one of our courses is fully accredited by the British Council and we are a member of English UK.

For each of our courses the English language requirements can be found under the course entry requirements. If you want to compare your current IELTS score to the Common European Framework please see the IELTS website.
