Thanks to the generosity of our donor community during 2022 and for many years before, we are able to create an outstanding university experience for our students, helping those who need it most through a range of support programmes, from scholarships to wellbeing-focused projects.
Scholarships, Bursaries, Prizes
At the University of Salford, we are honoured to have a wonderful community of donors who fund a range of scholarships, bursaries, and prizes for our talented students.
Our donor-funded scholarships and bursaries are designed to provide students from low-income and/or underrepresented backgrounds with the financial support they need to remain in education to pursue their professional dreams. Many of our donors also instil a sense of pride and confidence in our scholars, encouraging them to take risks and make the most of every opportunity that comes their way.
The donor-funded prizes on offer at Salford have been created to help recognise the academic achievements of our students, demonstrating the rewards hard work can bring.
Thanks to our extraordinary donor community, over 145 students and recent graduates will be in receipt of a donor-funded scholarship, bursary, or prize during the 2022/23 academic year!
