Offer Holder Days 2025
Congratulations on receiving an offer to study with us. We would love to invite you to one of our upcoming Offer Holder Days on our campus.
These days provide offer holders a real flavour of what life is like as a Salford undergraduate student. With multiple dates and sessions to choose from you can tailor your schedule to suit your interests. You'll have the opportunity to learn more about your course, chat with your future classmates and speak with our staff and students about studying at Salford.
As an offer holder for one of our courses, you have already narrowed down your choices and we’re thrilled to have made it onto your shortlist. Our Offer Holder Days are designed to help you gather as much information as possible and make it easier for you to make that important final decision.
We could tell you all the reasons why we think an Offer Holder Day is a great idea, but we figured it was better for you to hear it from one of our students. Click the video below to hear all about Offer Holder Days from our student ambassador, Aidan.

What to expect at your Offer Holder Day
Our Offer Holder Days are exclusive to applicants who have been made an offer to study with us.
Choosing the right university for you is one of the most important decisions you can make. Even if you have already attended an Open Day, an Offer Holder Day provides an additional valuable insight into student life at Salford, as well as the opportunity to meet your future course mates.
- Attend a course session and speak to our course tutors - these sessions will include activities that you will undertake as part of your course.
- Join one of our campus tours - our friendly student ambassadors will show you around your campus, and it's a great opportunity to grill our current students about life at Salford!
- Explore our student accommodation - our accommodation tours provide you with the opportunity to look at show flats at either Peel Park Quarter or John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts. There will also be an accommodation talk at 12.30, we recommend grabbing an early lunch if you're interested in this talk.
- Find out more about student finance - the team will be on hand to help you navigate the world of student finance. You can ask our team any questions you have about funding your studies and completing your finance application.
- Discover more about student wellbeing, disability and support - come along to one of the talks on campus, or book a 1-1 disability support appointment with our askUS student support team. This appointment won't result in a full reasonable adjustment plan, however it will guide you on the necessary next steps and advice.
- Find out more about sports and societies at Salford – from aerobics to debating, find out more about what you can get up to outside of the classroom as a Salford student.
We really encourage you to attend our Life at Salford talk, and let our student ambassadors give you the low-down on their Salford experience and why they chose to study here. At our weekend events, this talk is repeated twice so you can fit it around your course session. At our weekday events, this will take place after lunch and we will take you to your course session directly from this talk.
Travel bursary
To make it easier for you to visit us, we're offering a travel bursary to offset some of the cost of travelling to your Offer Holder Day. You'll need to check in and scan your QR code at the Offer Holder Day to receive it after attending the event (subject to a few basic restrictions, of course).
Our travel bursary is based on how far you’re travelling to the Offer Holder Day and there are five different payment bands. The minimum amount is £15 for those with a shorter journey, up to a maximum contribution of £120 for those travelling from further afield.
Please note that payment is made to the prospective student only, not for each person attending the event.
You will need a UK bank account to receive a travel bursary payment.
Book now
Of course! Choosing a university is a big decision, so we’d absolutely encourage anyone who is supporting you to get involved and join you on the Offer Holder Day.
Please be aware that we may need to limit the number of additional guests who accompany you to certain sessions on the day.
Do you have support for students with a disability?
You can let us know about your access requirements when you book onto our Offer Holder Days. We’ll then work with you to do everything we can to support you. You will also be able to have a one-to-one appointment with our disability inclusion service on the day.
If you would like to check our campus for its accessibility, we have worked closely with AccessAble (the leading provider of access information for disabled people in the UK) to produce an assessment of our campus and facilities. This work has provided detailed information about our access; find out more about their assessment of our campus and facilities.
Find out more about accessibility on campus or contact us on enquiries@salford.ac.uk.
Please contact our disability inclusion service for study related support.
What do I book if I have an offer for more than one course?
If you have an offer for more than one course, we would recommend contacting our Enquiries team at enquiries@salford.ac.uk to discuss your event options. In some cases, you may have the option to speak to the course tutor from both courses at the same event but please note there is no guarantee of this. In other cases, we may suggest you come along to more than one event. Our Enquiries team will be able to help you out further!
When are the Offer Holder Days?
Dependent upon what course you are interested in, there are multiple dates to choose from:
- Saturday 15 February 2025
- Wednesday 5 March 2025
- Wednesday 12 March 2025
- Wednesday 19 March 2025
- Wednesday 26 March 2025
- Wednesday 30 April 2025
- Saturday 10 May 2025
Please use our course sessions drop down above to choose your course and see what dates are applicable.
Who can attend an Offer Holder Day?
Offer Holder Days are more focused than an Open Day, so they are for offer-holders only. It doesn’t matter whether or not you have been to an Open Day before, you will receive more of a subject focus at the applicant event and it will give you a chance to find out more in depth information about your chosen course.
It also doesn't matter if you haven't yet accepted your offer. Our Offer Holder Days are designed to help you make that important final decision.
Choosing the right university is an important decision so we would also encourage parents, carers and supporters to attend the day as well.
