Celebrating Working Mums in Lockdown: An Informative and Participatory Event for Mums, Employers and Academics

Categories: School of Health and Society

This free two-day online event hosted by Social Policy lecturers Dr Joy Probyn and Eileen Cunningham at the University of Salford showcases cutting-edge research on the experiences of working mums during the COVID-19 lockdown.

It also explores gendered working patterns and mental health throughout the pandemic, lead by Dr Daiga Kamarade.

Staff are also invited to attend an empowering careers workshop and a number of free wellbeing sessions including transformational breathwork, yoga and lifestyle coaching. The event is funded by the University of Salford Research Impact Fund, supported by the University of Salford Women's Voice Network and part of the University of Salford Festival of Research.
