More comprehensive details for International Students
In response to feedback from last year’s welcome survey, we have taken significant steps to improve the information provided to new international students about accommodation and learning systems.
The annual survey, conducted after the September intake, revealed that students desired more comprehensive details on accommodation and Learning system.
To address these concerns, the International Recruitment team updated its communications plan. Thus, our international students received two additional emails focused on accommodation and one on learning systems.
The International Recruitment team also produced a social media reel on finding private accommodation. This new content was developed in direct response to survey feedback, aiming to assist the large number of international students who opt for private housing over university accommodations.
In addition to these efforts, we expanded the pre-departure live event for international students, which provides crucial information to help them transition smoothly to the university. Based on the survey results, the accommodation section was moved to the start of the session to ensure greater visibility and was given more time to address students’ concerns comprehensively. The International Recruitment team is committed to continually improving the student experience.
