Improving employability opportunities for our students and graduates is our number one priority. As well as enabling them to succeed and develop their creative practice at University, we actively encourage students to undertake placements and work-based learning opportunities as part of their studies.

Offer Creative Projects and Opportunities
Our dedicated Engagement Team have experience developing, supporting and promoting a range of creative competitions; live briefs; calls for artwork and career development sessions (which help industry to train and upskill new talent); and more.
Our collaborations with industry can be part of a module or as an extra-curricular opportunity. We are open to working with all sectors to offer creative opportunities to our students across all programmes within the School of Arts, Media & Creative Technology.

Engage with our industry events and enterprise opportunities
The Engagement Team coordinates School-wide events such as awards ceremonies; exhibitions; academic conferences; networking and volunteering opportunities; welcome and wellbeing fairs; extra-curricular events and more.
Our events team also deliver the end of year awards ceremonies and celebrations, such as the annual Create Student Awards, Degree Show, Journalism Awards and more. These are perfect opportunities for industry to get involved with our university community, meet our students, and celebrate their achievements.
