“I am so honoured to be nominated for an award by my brilliant tutor Chrystal. My time at the University of Salford has enhanced my confidence and execution in my practice. It feels surreal that my work is being acknowledged and I am grateful for this nomination. As a Pakistani photographer, it is a rare opportunity for people of colour to be recognised in the photography industry. I hope my nomination inspires people of colour to work in the creative industry.”
