Laura Dunleavy
Laura is a northern actor and performer living in Manchester, with bases in London, Blackpool, and Florida. Her playing age is 18-27.
Originally trained in Musical Theatre, Laura has performed in various theatrical pieces, most recently with Alibi Productions in their interactive shows at East Lancashire Railway. She has an innate love for music, and currently coaches students in singing for shows, exams and auditions.
Whilst studying for her BA, Laura gravitated towards naturalistic acting as a storytelling medium, which influenced her decision to further her performance skills with an MA in Screen acting at Salford University.
Over the past year she has explored the technical elements of screen work and refined her acting technique by creating various short productions with her peers and working on a short film, Lovers Lane. She has also gained experience in Motion Capture, ADR and voice over, recently voicing Katuka Studios’ upcoming short animation.
