Helen McHugh

Helen is Founder & Director of Marsden Strategy, a consultancy specialised in helping organisations to maximise the potential of their place-based strategies. She has significant experience in building long-term and strategic relationships to drive positive outcomes, reputational standing, and impact.

After spending three years living and working in Austria, Helen spent 15 years in London working at the heart of Westminster politics, including heading up the Labour Party’s fundraising and business relations units. In 2021 she moved to Manchester with her family and took up the role of Head of Engagement and CSR for TalkTalk. 

In her spare time, she’s a keen amateur violinist and Director and Trustee of the City of Sheffield Youth Orchestra.
