Dr Emily Beaumont is Associate Professor, Associate Head of Gloucestershire Business School and Associate Professor, Academic Subject Leader: Business, Enterprise and Financial Management at University of Gloucestershire. She is Co-Chair of the Research in Enterprise Education Special Interest Group - a collaboration between ISBE and EEUK - and board member and assessor of the Small Business Charter.

Emily was appointed as Honorary Enterprise Fellow to strengthen Salford Business School's presence and reputation amongst the enterprise and entrepreneurship academic and practitioner community. 

As Honorary Enterprise Fellow, her role will focus on attracting high-quality staff and students to the Business School. Emily will help the school to build strong, collaborative relationships with industry while increasing income through enterprise and entrepreneurship-focused research and practice projects. 

Emily’s career to date is impressive. Through her numerous roles, she acts to champion and foster our academic and practitioner communities, while brokering new relationships to offer Salford Business School a platform to showcase its success. 

Her current home institution is the University of Gloucestershire where she is an Associate Professor in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship and an Academic Subject Lead in Strategy, Leadership, Enterprise and Management. She has also played a pivotal role in driving Gloucestershire Business School’s Help to Grow Management programme, generating considerable income for the university.
