From Monday 17 June until Thursday 4 July, there will be a wide variety of online content available for you to access. We will cover topics such as fees and funding, life at Salford,  how to apply and so much more. As well as our sessions, we are also offering advice and guidance sessions to give you a chance to ask our Recruitment Team any questions about postgraduate study.

Discovery Month Online

As a part of our Postgraduate Discovery Month, you will have the opportunity to join us virtually to hear more about studying a Masters qualification at Salford. Whether you are joining us for our in-person Open Day on Wednesday 26 June or not, these sessions and recorded information are an opportunity to talk with our Recruitment Team and make sure you have everything you need for your next steps.

Live Sessions

From Monday 17 June to Thursday 4 July we will be offering six 90 minute online Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) sessions via Microsoft Teams to give you the opportunity to ask our Recruitment Team any questions you have about Postgraduate study. The sessions will focus on the Postgraduate student journey such as the application process, fees, funding and the student experience. 

Please note the sessions contain the same content, so you would only need to attend one of the below dates. 

The sessions are taking place on the following dates and times:

  • 14:30 - 16:00 on Monday 17 June (UK students only)
  • 14:30 - 16:00 on Tuesday 18 June (UK students only)
  • 10:00 - 11:00 on Thursday 20 June (International Offer Holders only)
  • 10:00 - 11:00 on Thursday 27 June (International Offer Holders only)
  • 16:00 - 17:30 on Wednesday 3 July (UK students only)
  • 16:00 - 17:30 on Thursday 4 July (UK students only)

How do I join?

Complete our the form on the Postgraduate Discovery Month to receive regular updates about how you can get involved. We will email you on the day with the joining link for our IAG sessions which will be held on Microsoft Teams and where to access our online recorded sessions.

FAQs

Are there any in-person events?

Yes! As a part of our Postgraduate Discovery Month, we are also offering our in-person Open Day on Wednesday 26 June from 13:00 until 18:00. To book your place, please go to our Postgraduate Open Day page. 

How do I access the online content?

Please complete the form on our Discovery Month page. You will receive updates about our Postgraduate Discovery Month and how to access our online content. 

The session with take place on Microsoft Teams at the allocated time. You will receive further information on how to join via email.

I am interested in Postgraduate Research

If you are interested in studying Postgraduate Research, check out the Salford Postgraduate Annual Research Conference (SPARC) that is taking place in-person on Wednesday 26 June and Thursday 27 June.

The meeting spaces for the online sessions will open 10 minutes before the session is due to begin. If you are trying to access the room before this, then please try again before the session is due to start.

What will the live sessions cover?

The live sessions will focus on the Postgraduate student journey such as the application process, fees, funding and the student experience. There are two sessions specifically for international offer holders where our international team will be able to answer any of your questions. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to comment on CAS queries, Student Visa questions or application status in any of the sessions not specifically for international offer holders.
