Tutor 1-to-1 Appointments
Book a tutor 1-to-1 appointment. Whether you still have questions after the Open Day, or weren't able to attend, speak to one of our tutors with any questions you have about the course.
What to expect?
Speak with our tutors virtually to get your questions answered about your postgraduate course of choice. If your course is not running a bookable session, don't worry! All of our tutors are contactable via email and many are available to book an online 1-to-1 appointment.
You can book a 15-minute virtual appointment from Monday 17 June until Thursday 4 July. Please visit the speak with your tutor section below to either email or book an appointment to discuss your course.
If you would like an appointment in the week of Monday 1 July until Thursday 4 July, then please book your appointment now! If you are an overseas offer holder for a Postgraduate qualification at Salford, we recommend booking your tutor 1-to-1 appointment before Friday 21 June.

I attended the Open Day, can I still book a 1-to-1?
Yes. If you attended our Open Day, but still have questions you can either email or book a session to speak to one of our tutors.
I am an international offer holder, can I book a 1-to-1?
Yes. If you are an overseas student and hold an offer to study one of our postgraduate qualifications, you can book a 1-to-1 between Monday 17 June and Friday 21 June.
How do I join the 1-to-1 session?
Once you have completed the booking request for your suitable date and time, you will receive a confirmation email which can be added to your Outlook calendar.
On the day and time of your appointment, join the appointment by click the blue ‘Join your appointment’ button. Please ensure that you can access MS Teams on your device prior to the call.
The session with take place on Microsoft Teams at your allocated time. The joining instructions will be sent to the email you used to book on.
If you can no longer join the meeting there is an option to cancel the appointment on your booking confirmation. Please select this option if you are unable to attend and provide as much notice as possible.
What can I discuss in a tutor 1-to-1?
The 1-to-1 appointment with your course tutor provides the time for you to discuss the course and any questions you may have about your academic studies.
Course tutors will not be able to advise on CAS queries, Student Visas or application status.
What device should I use for the tutor appointment.
We recommend that you join the meeting through a laptop or PC that has the function for a microphone and camera to be switched on.
We do not recommend joining on a phone or tablet, as the MS Teams meeting link will predominantly open in a search engine window.
