We have a full month dedicated to postgraduate on-campus and online activities for those interested in master's (MA, MSc, PgDip/Cert) or doctoral (PhD, MRes, MPhil) degrees.

The month is packed with information, guidance and advice to get you prepared for postgraduate study. Whether you are from the UK or elsewhere in the world, we will be guiding you through the student, CAS and visa application processes, supporting you in navigating fees and funding, and offering you a chance to ask questions to the recruitment, international, admissions and academic staff.

What's on during our Postgraduate Discovery Month?

The following sessions are aimed at master's (MA, MSc, PgDiP/Cert) and doctoral (PhD, MRes, MPhil) applicants and enquirers. There are dedicated sessions for prospective Home and International students.

  • Postgraduate Open Day

Our Postgraduate Open Day will take place on campus on Wednesday 20 November from 13.00 to 18.00 GMT.  There will be a range of talks to help you prepare for postgraduate study, tours, academic sessions and much more. Book your place now!

  • Online Sessions

Our online sessions give you access to our recorded and live sessions, covering all aspects of postgraduate study including the application process, fees and finance, and student life at Salford, running from Monday 04 November to Friday 29 November.

  • Campus Tours

The best way to get a feel for the university is through a campus tour led by our student ambassadors.
