Biography
I did my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at National Aviation University (Kyiv, Ukraine) and was awarded First Class for both. In 2009 I was awarded a PhD by National Aviation University. My doctoral research was focused on aircraft fleet management in an airline. During 2005-2012 I was teaching at National Aviation University (Kyiv, Ukraine) as an Assistant Professor / Associate Professor and delivered a short course in Human Resource Management in Aviation as an Invited Lecturer at Korea Aerospace University (Seoul, South Korea). In 2012-2013 I was a Fulbright Visiting Researcher at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Daytona Beach, Florida, USA). In 2014-2015 I was an Erasmus Mundus Postdoctoral Researcher at Technological University Dublin (Dublin, Ireland). In 2005 I joined the University of Salford. In 2016-2020 I was an External Examiner at University of Bedfordshire for BSc (Hons) Aviation and Airport Management. Since 2019 I am an External Examiner at Coventry University for BSc (Hons) Aviation Management delivered at City University of Hong Kong. Since 2021 I am an External Examiner at University of The West of England Bristol for MSc Aviation Management with Sustainability delivered in partnership with Transport and Telecommunication Institute (Riga, Latvia). Since 2022 I am an External Examiner at University of West London for Fda Airline and Airport Management, BSc (Hons) Air Transport Management (all variations), BSc Aviation Management with Commercial Pilot Licence and BA (Hons) Airline and Airport Management delivered in partnership with SDH Institute Singapore. In 2017 I was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Worldwide. I am a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a Member of the Higher Education Academy.

Topics related to sustainable air transport with the main focus on airlines and airports.
I am a Programme Leader for MSc Sustainable Air Transport Operations and Planning. I am also a Module Leader for the modules below:
- L7 Airport Operations and Planning;
- L7 Airline Planning and the Future of Urban Air Mobility;
- L7 Airline Operations;
- L7 Dissertation (Sustainable Air Transport Operations and Planning).
I also co-lecture on L6 Industrial Management and supervise L6 Final Year Projects (aero programmes).
