Biography
Dr. Susantha Udagedara boasts an impressive 23-year career in research and teaching across the UK, China, and Sri Lanka. He currently holds the esteemed positions of Head of Enterprise and Sustainability Subject Group and Director of the Global MBA Programme at the University of Salford. Prior to his current role, Dr. Udagedara enriched students' knowledge with business management subjects at the University of Kelaniya (Sri Lanka). He further broadened his academic horizons with visiting appointments at the University of Rajarata (Sri Lanka) and the Manchester International College (UK).
Dr. Udagedara's dedication extends beyond the classroom. He has a proven track record of supervising and supporting a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. His leadership qualities are further evidenced by his role as the Person in Charge of the World Bank-funded IRQUE Project and International Recruitment Lead at Salford Business School.
A testament to his commitment to academic excellence, Dr. Udagedara is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His passion for continuous learning fuels his ongoing research into innovation and small business issues in both developed and developing countries.
