Biography
Dr. Sean Chung is presently a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and the Head of the International Business and Strategy Subject Group at Salford Business School. In 2015, he obtained a doctorate in marketing from Alliance Manchester Business School. His research focuses on the intersection between marketing, technology, and consumer experience. He is especially interested in how consumers interact with brands and businesses across multiple channels, as well as how technology can be used to enhance customer experience in cross-national, retail, tourism, and hospitality contexts. Currently, he is involved in numerous research initiatives in M-commerce, mobile apps, customer service, sustainable business practises, online and offline consumer behaviour, and loyalty. Dr. Chung is a devoted educator who is committed to assisting students in acquiring the skills and knowledge in marketing and digital marketing necessary for success in the global marketplace. Additionally, he is dedicated to conducting research that has a positive impact on business and society.
