Biography
Sara is the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Innovation at the University of Salford, she has a background in both academia and industry within digital, innovation and skills.
Sara has designed, managed, and delivered on multiple programmes supporting businesses to initiate new business models, develop and embed innovation processes to successfully take new products and services to market. As an experienced strategic project manager, Sara has recently lead several large scale projects such as the Centre for Digital Innovation and the Greater Manchester AI Foundry, supporting businesses across a range of R&D and innovation knowledge exchange initiatives, supporting the adoption of technologies such as AI, cyber, immersive tech and industrial digitisation to enhance or develop new products and services, stimulating growth.
