Biography
Dr Ruth Hudson is an experienced higher education curriculum developer, leader, multi-disciplinary researcher, learning and teaching specialist, and project lead for Carbon Literacy at Salford Business School. Ruth has also developed HE programmes internationally, including the development of global student exchanges. Her expertise extends to leading a digital transformation teaching and learning project in HE, transforming active learning for student engagement and graduate outcomes.
Her international research explored the development of education training programmes in kindergarten and primary schools as part of an Erasmus+ project. Additionally, Ruth has been part of two research teams evaluating the early years curriculum, and a Local Authority Future Selves project looking at the aspirations of primary and secondary school-aged children. Her thesis explored the lived experiences of parents and educators of children aged up to 7 years old bereaved of a parent.
