Biography

I am a Biodiversity Scientist, intrigued by the variation of life at all levels of biological organization: I currently hold a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Göteborgs Universitet (Gothenburg, Sweden), working on the evolution of bromeliads (plants) from South America, and a Researcher Associated to the Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre – GGBC (Gothenburg, Sweden). I hold an honorary position at the University of Salford (Salford, UK) on ongoing collaboration with colleagues from the School of Science, Engineering and Environment - SEE (Salford, UK). At this role I lead phylogenomic, biogeography, genome assembly projects using non-human primates distributed in South America. I also maintain ongoing collaborative Projects on Genomics and High-Performance Computer Infrastructure at the Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia - INPA (Manaus, Brazil), focused on Amazonian birds.
