Senior Lecturer
Biography
I am a senior lecturer and the Artistic Director of the New Adelphi Theatre, responsible for programming a diverse season of events that respond to student-facing curriculum and staff research.
I have been an associate artist with Blast Theory digital art group for over twenty years, touring nationally and internationally with Blast Theory, Plane Performance and Reckless Sleepers. In addition, I am a board member for Reckless Sleepers theatre company.
I am a Senior Lecturer in Theatre and Performance Practice at the University of Salford, and recently co-edited with Dr Tracy Crossley an online book for Digital Theatre+: Making Postdramatic Theatre – A Handbook of Devising Exercises.
Areas of Research
Digital and Interactive Performance. Contemporary / Immersive Theatre.
Teach a range of modules from 1st through to 3rd year: Performance Skills, Performance Workshop, Performance Project, New Trends in Theatre, Postdramatic Theatre.
Supervise final 3rd year work.
