Biography
Registered Nurse (Adult) since 1993). Clinical background: operating theatres. Transitioned into practice-based education in 2001 with the implementation of the Making a Difference curriculum, as Clinical Placement Co-ordinator (now the Practice Education Facilitator (PEF) role. Areas of interest and expertise include practice learning, practice supervisor/assessor (formerly mentor) role preparation and support, development of student nurses towards autonomous RNs, law & ethics in clinical practice.
