Biography
I lecture in PR and Journalism at the University of Salford.
I am an experienced TV and Radio presenter with over 20 years background in broadcast journalism working for national and local media, including BBC Radio Manchester, Key 103, GMTV, BBC Breakfast, and MUTV. My career has seen me interview a number of high-profile celebrities including Sir David Attenborough, Cher and Dame Joan Collins.
I am also a trained PR professional having worked for both agencies and in house PR. I spent 3 years at the BBC as their BBC Sport publicist where I looked after their key campaigns for Wimbledon, Rio Olympics and Sports personality of the Year.
Alongside lecturing I am currently the official red carpet reporter for the Royal Television Society Awards North West and regularly host live events such as Bolton Food and Drink Festival and Ballroom Live with the stars from Strictly Come Dancing.
I freelance as Arts & Culture Correspondent for I Love Manchester where my passion for theatre shines through as I produce and present their weekly online magazine show Spotlight on Stage.
