Elizabeth Fussey
Biography
Lizzie is a policy manager at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, specialising in Child Protection, Safeguarding, Ethics and Law. As policy manager, Lizzie leads on the development of evidence-based standards for healthcare in relation to child protection and safeguarding, including healthcare in secure settings, forensic medicine and community paediatrics. Further work includes the development of both evidence and clinical consensus positions on behalf of the RCPCH in relation to Government policy in the health, social care and criminal justice space.
Lizzie's background is in Civil Service policy and she has a BA in Childhood Studies from the University of Leeds (2020).
