Biography
David Farmer is a Research Fellow at the University of Salford where he manages the Salford Energy House (Energy House 1). He is an expert in the measurement of building fabric and heating system thermal performance. David has undertaken research on a wide range of housing types and heating systems in the new-build and retrofit sectors. He has designed and delivered complex research projects in the field and laboratory. Work detailing methodologies that he has developed for fabric and system performance measurement has been published in leading building performance evaluation journals.
