Biography
I obtained by degree in Counselling Skills with Criminology from the University of Chester in 2015, followed by completing their MA (Masters) in Clinical Counselling degree to become a qualified therapist. I am currently studying for my Professional Doctorate also at the University of Chester in Counselling and Psychological Trauma.
I have a background working with both adults, children, and young people in a variety of settings, and have recently become a BACP accredited therapist. In my spare time I co-run a podcast entitled 'The Therapy Files Podcast' which discusses social justice and counselling issues.
Areas of Research
Bullying, and neurodiversity.
I have guest lectured at the University of Chester, and now work at the University full time as a Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
