Biography
Having come from an industry background in retailing and marketing, I have taught in higher education over the last couple of decades. I enjoy a particular love of advertising and the study of semiotics, having taught on a number of subject areas within marketing and business. I enjoy research exploring intersectionality and consumption. I have held many external examiner posts and have formed part of review panels for various institutions.
Areas of Research
I have research interests in gender, consumption and identity with a particular focus on advertising and brands.
