Biography
Ambarin completed her PhD in Innovation, Management and Policy at Alliance Manchester Business School. She also holds a MSc. in Management of Science, Technology and Innovation from Alliance Manchester Business School and a MBA in Marketing from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan. Prior to joining Salford Business School, she worked as a lecturer in Coventry University and International Business and Management at Alliance Manchester Business School. She also held Lecturer position in Pakistan at Institute of Business Management and Institute of Business Administration and also possesses several years of industry work experience. Ambarin’s PhD focuses on "Breakthrough Technologies and Emerging Industries: The Role of Entrepreneurial Firms, Incumbents and Intermediaries in Organic and Printed Electronics." Her research interest are in the field of enabling and general purpose technologies .She has been co investigator and workshop lead for the University of Salford’s contribution to the GM AI Foundry which has supported over 45 SMEs interested in using AI .
