Biography
Dr Ali Ahmed joined University of Salford in 2022 as a Lecturer in International Business. His teaching focuses on culture, cross cultural management, international business practice & theory, international strategy and sustainability among other areas.
Ali has been teaching in UK universities for over 7 years and holds a PhD in Management & International Business from Aston University. He has published in IB journals and presented at conferences such as AIB, and has extensive experience supervising research at the MSc level.
Areas of Research
International Business Trends, International Tax Arrangements and Arbitrage, Tax Havens & Determinants, Economic impact of tax activity from MNEs, MNE performance in fast changing cultural settings, MNEs & political economies.
