- Track your assessment grades.
Download the app
- Search 'Blackboard Learn' on the app store on your device.
- Install the app then select 'University of Salford.'
- Log in using your University email and password.
- Check the 'Activity Stream' to stay updated with the latest announcements and course messages.

Use alternative formats with Blackboard Ally

The Blackboard Ally tool can convert course materials into different formats that work best for you.
You can convert a file to:
- HTML for easier reading on mobile devices
- Immersive Reader for Read Aloud functions
- MP3 audio files for learning on the go
- Translated format for over 50 languages
- Electronic Braille for the visually impaired
If you're not sure which format to download, click on the Help link.
Downloading Alternative Formats
- Click on the alternative formats download icon next to the original file (as shown on the right)
- Select the format that you would like
- Select Download.
This will save the alternative format to your device so you can access it offline.
