Allister’s role will be to review Statutory Practice Placement Guidance for social work students.

Social Work England is the professional regulator for social workers in England and Allister will be involved at a national level to influence and inform guidance around practice learning.

Allister said: “I am delighted to have been appointed and am looking forward to having the opportunity to consider and inform the future of practice learning within the statutory social work sector. Given the many challenges which Covid-19 has presented, this is an opportune time to rethink how to ensure social work students across the country receive the very best practice learning experience.”

Well done Allister!
