Nursing Associate Apprenticeship team shortlisted in national awards
The Nursing Associate Apprenticeship team at the University of Salford have been shortlisted as a national finalist in the ‘FE Week and AELP Apprenticeship and Training Awards 2025’.
Over 600 nominations were submitted from employers, training providers, colleges and universities.
This year’s categories of awards celebrate innovative training, employer support for social mobility, and excellence in learner support, alongside the coveted awards for employer and provider of the year.
The University’s team have been nominated for the ‘Excellence in Learner Support Award’. Nicole Blythe, programme lead of the Nursing Associate program said:
Nicole Blythe, who leads the Nursing Associate programme at the University of Salford, said: "I’m delighted that we have been shortlisted, especially given the high number of entries to these prestigious awards. This really is a testament to the amazing teaching team, support staff and incredible students we are fortunate to have on our Nursing Associate programme.”
The team behind the University of Salford’s great work will be invited to attend a celebratory reception at the Houses of Parliament in February 2025, hosted by MP, Sir Lindsay Hoyle. There will also be a Gala Awards dinner taking place in Liverpool a few weeks later.
