Celebrating excellence: The AJ Bell Technology Award

For the fourth year AJ Bell has presented the AJ Technology Award to the top Computer Science and Software Engineering students for the academic year 2023/24. This initiative not only acknowledges the outstanding talent of these students but also emphasises AJ Bell's commitment to fostering the next generation of tech leaders.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication, Jacob Colville-Mace, Louis Optimism and Steven Duckett all won awards. Louis said: “The event was insightful and provided information on various career paths and opportunities available at AJ Bell.” These awards are not just about recognition, but also about paving the way for future success.

The prize winners were treated to an exclusive tour of AJ Bell’s offices, where they had the chance to engage with the company’s talented engineers. This visit provided them with invaluable insights into the innovative technologies and processes that underpin AJ Bell's success in the financial services industry.

Mo Tagari, Chief Technology Officer and one of the key supporters of this award, said: “Our partnership with the University of Salford reflects AJ Bell’s commitment to investing in the community and supporting the growth of STEM talent. Their dedication and commitment to empowering students have made a significant impact, ensuring that the AJ Technology Award continues to thrive.
