Library know-how
We offer a range of services across our Libraries and Learning Spaces, to support you with your research. Find out more about our different Library spaces, borrowing laptops, and using our Library app via the information below.
Library support
As a postgraduate researcher, you can access a wide range of physical and electronic resources, skills and research support, and careers advice. For example, you can access past PhD theses, get help with your research data, access specialist skills workshops and e-learning, and ask for new items to be added to our collection.
Ethical reviews
If you're conducting research that involved categories of human participants, sensitive topics, human or animal tissue or primary data must complete an ethical review via Infonetica before starting your data collection. Your Module Leader or Lecturer will advise on whether you are required to complete an individual application via Infonetica or whether they will submit an application on your behalf (known as Block Approval).
Contact us
You can access specialised support and general Library help through a wide variety of channels.
