Find books in the Library

We've put together some guidance to help you get straight to the right resources.

Finding books is easy when you know:

1.

The floor the book is on

2.

The shelf number the book is on

3.

The class number for the book

Start with the Locate button on Library Search

Use the Locate button in Library Search results to see which floor and shelf number the book is on. A map will be displayed, helping you find the location of the book.

Use the class number when you're at the shelf

Each book has a class number – a series of numbers and letters used to keep the library stock in order. When looking for books on the shelf, please make a note of the entire class number from Library Search, including any letters at the end of the number sequence. The shelves begin at 000 and work up numerically through the library floors. You need to find the aisle that holds books matching your class number.
