Clifford Whitworth Library
Open 24/7 (Until 20/12/24)
Staffed: 8:00 - 21:00 every day (until 20/12/24).
You will need your student ID card to access the building after 17:00 weekdays and all day at weekends. You may be asked to present your ID to Library staff when using the spaces.

During Winter Break, from 20/12/24 - 02/01/25, Clifford Whitworth Library will be operating reduced hours and some services and spaces may be limited. Full Winter Break opening times for Clifford Whitworth are listed below.
Please note: Students who borrow a laptop/book prior to closing on 20/12/24 will not need to return items until the library re-opens on 02/01/25 when The Library is back to normal operational hours.
Lady Hale/The Cube, Allerton and MediaCity will all close at 18:00 on 20/12/24, and re-open as usual on 02/01/25.

Lady Hale Building - The Cube
Winter Break opening hours: Lady Hale/The Cube will close at 18:00 on 20/12/24, and re-open as usual on 02/01/25.
Monday to Friday: 8.00 - 19.00
Weekends: Closed
You may be asked to present your ID to Library staff when using the spaces. The first floor of The Cube closes at 17:00 Monday to Friday.
Allerton Learning Space
Winter Break Opening Hours: Allerton Learning Space will close at 18:00 on 20/12/24, and re-open as usual on 02/01/25

The number 50 and 51 buses are free when you show your University of Salford ID card.
The University building is located just behind Dockyard bar and Prezzo Italian restaurant; look out for the University of Salford sign. The library is located on the third floor landing.

Students can visit the Careers Hub to ask a question about accessing careers and self-employment advice, accessing job vacancies, developing their job applications and interview skills.
