What facilities will I have access to?

Data and cyber students will have access to Salford’s impressive Networking and Project Laboratories and Specialist Computer Laboratories at our Peel Park campus and MediaCity campus, which are home to a variety of industry-standard equipment.

Do you offer support to help students pay for their studies?

We offer a selection of scholarships to help you fund your postgraduate studies. Our Global Gold Excellence Scholarship is worth £3,000 and our Global Silver Excellence Scholarship is worth £2,500. Both of these scholarships are automatically deducted from your tuition fees.  

We are located close to Manchester city centre which is a growing hub for businesses in the North of England. As a result, there are lots of opportunities to find part-time work in a variety of industries. We have an on-campus part-time recruitment agency, Unitemps, who can support you in finding a job within the university or at another local business. Our Careers and Enterprise team can also work with you to improve your CV and interview technique to secure a part-time job.
