Salford/EATL Data Science Scholarships
As part of our Memorandum of Understanding with the Ethical Advanced Technologies Limited (EATL) Innovation Hub, Bangladesh, we are proud to offer the Salford/EATL Data Science Scholarships to six students from Bangladesh studying MSc Data Science. These will be part-funded scholarships and at least three will be awarded to female applicants to support our Women in STEM agenda.
Scholarship details
The University of Salford's MSc Data Science programme is ideal for mathematics, computing or science graduates, or experienced professionals, eager to join the data storytelling revolution.
MSc Data Science requires students to take a live project as the final part of the degree. The live projects will be supplied by EATL Innovation Hub and will be focused on solving a problem that has an impact on the development of Bangladesh. This is a key impact of this initiative – our students will be working on a project that relates to global development including aligning to UN Sustainable Development Goals.
There are six scholarships available for September 2025 intake.
Applicants must be of Bangladesh nationality.
At least three scholarships will be awarded to female applicants to support our Women in STEM agenda.
The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee reduction of £7,100. Award winners will pay a reduced tuition fee of £12,000 (instead of the full tuition fee of £19,100) for September 2025 intake.
This is not a full scholarship and award winners must behave funds available for the remaining tuition fee and living costs associated with studying at the University of Salford in the UK.

This is a selective scholarship.
You must first complete the Salford-EATL scholarship application on our dedicated Salford/EATL webpage.
If you are selected for the scholarship you will be you will be invited to apply for the MSc Data Science programme via the Salford/EATL portal. Your scholarship will only be confirmed once you have completed and passed both applications.
