In our 2025 issue of From Salford we catch up with University of Salford alumnus, and now government minister in Somalia, Mohamed Dore, who discusses how his master's degree and his time at Salford played a critical role in him becoming a Minister for Education, Culture and Higher Education, helping to improve access to education for children in Somalia.
We also celebrate our record-breaking achievements in philanthropic gifts and pledges from our amazing alumni, volunteers, donors, corporate partners and charitable foundations, as well as unveiling the latest updates on our impressive new health and wellbeing building, and showcasing our latest research projects in action.
