In our autumn 2023 issue of From Salford we catch up with Salford alumna and BBC Radio 1 presenter Vicky Hawkesworth, who discusses her journey from Salford student to co-hosting a national radio show.
We also celebrate the launch of our new multi-million-pound Greater Manchester Institute of Technology (GMIoT), a special visit by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal who joined student entrepreneurs at the Young Enterprise UK Start-Up Final, as well as the summer opening of our highly popular micro-brewery, bakery, and café, The Old Fire Station.
