Peel Building
The university’s origins lie in this grand, elegant building. Built in 1896 and designed by Henry Lord, the beautiful façade is constructed of red Accrington bricks and sculpted terracotta.
Inside, the magnificent Peel Hall seats up to 300 people in spectacular surroundings. The hall can be used for musical performances and recordings as well as more traditional conferences.
The buildings is also home to a large number of lecture theatres, classrooms and meeting rooms which are ideal breakout spaces for larger events.

About the Spaces
Peel Hall
This elegant Victorian Concert Hall is housed in the Peel Building which stands proudly at the front of the Peel Park Campus. It has capacity for 300 in tiered seating format.
A wonderful venue for concerts, performances and recordings it also makes an impressive space to hold a conference, presentation or Awards’ event.
The Hall is equipped with audio visual equipment and has full wireless internet access for all delegates.
There is a large car park in close proximity to the venue and the building is sited at the front of the campus which is convenient for bus and train travel.
Lecture Theatres
With lecture theatres and classrooms of varying sizes (from 2 to 103) we can accommodate your event in traditional, comfortable surroundings with access to full audio-visual equipment.
Room arrangements are flexible and there are plenty of spaces to choose from.
