Academic support
Library
Our Library site is about so much more than books. We have a living library – that means that it is constantly changing with new resources almost every day – that’s a national and international resource. You can also access UniSkills and other academic support through the Library.
Academic Skills
Our Library staff have an entire team dedicated to helping you improve your academic skills. Find workshops to improve your skills, engage with online resources you can view at your own pace, learn how to reference correctly, book a one-to-one appointment or try LinkedIn Learning, which is free for all students.
Digital IT
Our Digital IT team is responsible for all our IT systems at the uni including the campus network and WiFi, computers across campus, access to your network accounts and email, Office365, and IT security. You can contact the service desk for help through the Service Portal or visit the team in the Tech Bar on campus. Find out more about getting help from DIT.
Schools
Your School is the best place to get course- or module-specific advice. All details for your school, course and module leaders are listed on Blackboard, so that’s the easiest place to get advice. However, you also have School Progression Administrators (SPAs) who can help you navigate everything. To start, you can contact your School Office in person, via the phone or on email
