Marketing Manchester
Marketing Manchester is the city-region's official destination marketing organisation, promotional agency, and home of the Manchester Convention Bureau.
The Manchester Convention Bureau team works alongside the Conferencing Team here at Salford to support our academics in hosting national and international meetings. They’re a not-for-profit organisation and the support they offer is free-of-charge.
They offer a range of complimentary support services to assist with every stage of the process, from bid stage through to the conference taking place in the city. The Manchester Convention Bureau also manages the Manchester Conference Ambassador Programme, a network of academics and professionals who have a shared interest in hosting events in Greater Manchester.

Meetings Industry Association
The MIA is one of the largest associations in the conference, meetings and events sector. This not-for-profit organisation has given the industry an accreditation scheme, industry awards, invaluable research and a voice to government.

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce
GMCC is the largest Chamber of Commerce in the UK. As an independent, not-for-profit private company, the Chamber influences key decision-makers in local and central government. It is regularly consulted for feedback from the business community when policy is being developed, locally and nationally.

Unique Venues of Manchester
Unique Venues of Manchester (UVM) was established in 2013 and is the first group of its kind in the region. Dedicated to the promotion and celebration of unusual and unique venues in Manchester, it follows in the footsteps of established groups such as Unique Venues of London and Unique Venues of Edinburgh. Its aim is to promote high quality event spaces and facilities in some of the city’s most exceptional and inspirational settings.

Academic Venue Solutions
Academic Venue Solutions (AVS) is a membership consortium of academic venues that have facilities for hire. A not-for-profit-organisation, their main role is to generate venue enquiries for members. Membership also has the advantage of gaining access to industry research and taking part in knowledge sharing and networking opportunities.
