Residential Bookings
During the university’s summer vacation period, which runs from July to early September, we have 2400 bedrooms available to hire. Ideal for residential conferences, sporting events and summer schools, the facilities also include access to our leisure centre with its swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym and sports courts.
Peel Park Quarter
Our new student accommodation is right at the heart of our main campus. Overlooking Peel Park, and the highest spec accommodation on offer, it’s a perfect base for your delegates or summer school attendees.
The 1,367 en-suite rooms are just a short stroll from New Adelphi and Chapman Buildings and the Sports Centre. Each apartment has its own kitchen and lounge space, and there are a cinema room, gym, TV and games room, group study lounges and a launderette. All bedrooms come with a large 3/4 bed as standard.
In line with our commitment to the environment, the accommodation will be sustainable and energy-efficient with a target of achieving an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating.

PEEL PARK QUARTER has been a huge success with students since it opened its doors on our main campus in 2015. The £81m development’s modern design includes multiple social spaces, fantastic views of the Manchester skyline and even two 30-seater cinemas!
Now, the complex which houses nearly 1,400 students has earned 3rd place out of almost 1,000 halls of residences around the country.

John lester and eddie colman court
John Lester Court and Eddie Colman Court are a short stroll away from the Frederick Road Campus and are ideally located for those attending events at Allerton and Mary Seacole buildings, A five minute walk from our main Peel Park campus and with excellent transport links to MediaCityUK and around Manchester, John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts provide an ideal base for your event in any of our facilities.
The property offers a mix of two, three or four bedroom flats with shared kitchen facilities. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. Each court has facilities for socialising and relaxing, including an on-site gym, TV and games room with a pool table, half-sized basketball court, and a launderette. There’s also free gated parking for delegates.

Summer Language Schools
At the University of Salford, we know how important it is to deliver an excellent language centre on a budget, and our facilities are ideally placed to provide this.
Our accommodation is plentiful and of a very high-standard, and we’re very flexible when it comes to tuning service levels to fit your budget.
Classrooms
We have a huge number of classrooms of varying shapes and sizes, all equipped with audio visual equipment and furnished to a high standard.
Social space
We understand that summer schools need communal space in the evenings for your attendees to relax, get to know each other and unwind after a long day of studying. We have many social areas for various activities, including a theatre.
Sports Centre
Our Sport Centre contains a wide range of facilities and equipment and can accommodate groups in the pool and the main hall. Find out more about our Sport Centre
Catering
Accommodation can be booked on a full-board basis, with full meals available in our selection of refectories. We can also provide packed lunches.
Together with our caterers, we offer a competitively priced package with excellent quality food. We can accommodate special requirements: just let us know in advance what you need. Have a look at our sample menus for a flavour of the food on offer.
Staff Office
An office is available for your staff, free of charge. We can also help you set up your equipment for a small fee.
Manchester and the surrounding area
Manchester - famous for its music, shopping and, of course, football - is a compact city and easy to walk around. For more information about the city, region and surrounding area see the Visit Manchester website.
We’re just over a mile from Manchester city centre. Salford Crescent railway station, right in the middle of our Peel Park and Frederick Road campuses, runs a frequent service to the city centre and there are many different bus services to and from the city centre.
