Set up multi-factor authentication
When you sign in to your University account for the first time, you will be asked to register some additional information to ensure your account is kept safe. It is important to set up multi-factor authentication for your account at the earliest opportunity.
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) requires a second form of authentication when logging in to Microsoft 365 and its tools, the Student Hub and the Student Portal. It is required when you're accessing your University account from a new device, a new web browser, a new location, or when you’ve not authenticated for 13 days.
- Forgot your password? Self-Service Password Reset allows you to reset your password at any time, once you have MFA set up.
