Commissioning our academics to conduct new research on your behalf means that you benefit from bespoke new insights which can help to further develop and implement an idea or innovation.

Contract research projects are a particularly useful way of engaging with our expertise and infrastructure when you do not have the necessary knowledge or facilities in-house to resolve a challenge. The activity is fully funded by the business, which means that you are able to shape the plans to your exact needs and will own any intellectual property created through the work.

We have worked on over 750 contract research projects with SMEs, charities and large corporations over the last 10 years. Projects can involve multiple experts and facilities from across the university, with each one tailored to your specific needs.
